Senate President Accepts New Role as Senior Logistics Genera

Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has officially accepted a new role as Senior Logistics General to lead and provide comprehensive support to all Cambodian forces stationed along the Cambodian-Thai border.

According to H.E. Chea Thyrith, Spokesperson of the Senate, Samdech Techo Hun Sen—who also holds the rank of Five-Star General—made the announcement during a meeting with frontline unit commanders in Samrong city, Oddar Meanchey province, this morning.

On this occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen instructed the forces to remain on high alert and never to fear enemies threatening the country’s territorial integrity, the spokesperson added.

The Senate President arrived in Oddar Meanchey this morning to visit and assess the conditions of the frontline troops, who continue to stand firm in defence of the nation. His visit highlights his deep concern for the welfare of the armed forces and aims to boost their morale and commitment to safeguarding Cambodia’s sovereignty.
