Cambodia-China Friendship Hospital to Be Completed by End of November
The Cambodia-China Friendship Hospital’s construction is to be completed by the end of November.
The Minister of Health, Dr Mam Bunheng, lead a delegation from the ministry to inspect the construction site on November 23.
The ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the hospital took place on March 1, 2019, with Prime Minister Hun Sen presiding. The hospital is located in Tboung Khmum, and is delegated as a regional hospital to admit patients from Tboung Khmum, Kratie, Ratanakiri, Stung Treng and Mondulkiri.
The hospital was built with a grant from the People’s Republic of China. The hospital costs $45.66 million to be constructed and furnished. The hospital has a 300-bed capacity.
