Phnom Teak Traing In Battambang Province Listed As Natural Heritage Site

The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has decided to list Phnom Teak Traing in Battambang northwestern province as a natural heritage site.

According to a sub-decree signed by Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen on May 25 and released to the media this morning, Phnom Traing is located on a total land area of 79.82 hectares in Tbeng commune, Rattanak Mondul district.

The establishment of this new natural site is aimed to ensure environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable use of natural resources, it underlined.

Phnom Pram Pi Natural Site will be under the management of the Ministry of Environment in collaboration with the relevant ministries and institutions, Battambang provincial administration, and the armed forces, added the same source.
